Personal Questions

What music is playing in your office while you work, or in your car while you are driving?
Old time rock and roll.
Describe the day your practice opened.
It is too long ago to remember. I just remember it was busy right out of the starting gate and we have never looked back. I feel very blessed.
If your most used dental instrument could talk what would it tell you?
That would be one of three. It would be my needle holder, probably telling me to give it a rest. Or it would be my Woodson #2 elevator, asking me to pay it overtime. Or most, my blade handles, since I change the surgical blades so very often during a procedure that it probably needs a time off to catch its breath.
What would you do if you weren't a dental professional?
I would probably go into facial reconstructive plastic surgery practice, teaching and publishing in this field.
What is your favorite outside the office activity?
First, taking rides on my Harley Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle with my daughter and friends. Second, jogging. Third, would be coaching Lacrosse at all levels.
What is your most memorable case as a practitioner?
Too many. They are all memorable.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one Hu-Friedy instrument, what would it be and why?
The bone cutting ronguers (part code: RBL) because it is built like a tank and could be pretty versatile if need be.
What has been your shining moment in dentistry?
Lecturing at the Podium at the Hinman Dental Meeting in my home town.
If you could be reincarnated into anything, what would it be?
The founder of Harley Davidson or Microsoft, both innovators who had a lot of moxy.
What allows you to play all day and get paid doing it?
The profession of dentistry. There is not a better profession out there!
