Detail. Precision. Acccuracy.
From build-up or reduction to impression, cementing and adjusting...a delicate procedure demands specialized, finely crafted instruments that will enhance the long-term efficacy of the treatment – and reinforce the trust and loyalty of your patients. We know that best-practice crown and bridge procedures are characterized by an uncompromising attention to detail and a unwavering commitment to precision. Your ability to sculpt, fit and adjust – with the utmost care – is paramount. And it remains the driving force behind our designs and innovations.

Precision Placement with the Hu-Friedy Accu-Placer

The placement and fitting of a crown and/or bridge is the critical juncture in the procedure. The crown is small and difficult to handle and without a proper instrument the practioner may rely upon their fingers to place the prosthetic device. This can limit visibility and precision. Today, we recommend the Accu-Placer, an instrument that has been spcially designed for the precise placement of crowns and other prosthetic devices. Its small diameter tip works in conjunction with individually wrapped Accu-Dot Strips to lift, place and hold the crown in place during luting. Increased visbility, precision and accuracy make for a more effective and efficient procedure.

Dr. Christensen's Crown Removal Technique

Dr. Gordon Christensen's expertise in restorative procedures makes him one of the profession's most trusted and valued educators, lecturers and practioners. His insights on crown and bridge procedures led to the development of the Christensen Crown Removers (straight and right-angle). They provide exceptional control when breaking the seal of cement – putting less pressure on the tooth than other types of removers. The potential for tooth fracture is significantly reduced.
